Meet Our Team
Michael Tschickardt, M.D.
Dr. Michael Tschickardt was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. He attended the University of South Florida in Tampa for his undergraduate studies and medical school. Upon graduating in 1998, he completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Tschickardt continued postgraduate training with three years of Anesthesiology residency at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and realized his calling was in the subspecialty of Interventional Pain Medicine. He went on to complete a further year of fellowship training in Pain Medicine at Wake Forest University.
Dr. Tschickardt then moved to Corpus Christi where he has practiced interventional pain medicine since 2003. Dr. Tschickardt is board certified in Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He devotes his entire practice to pain management, which is the treatment of painful conditions utilizing the latest interventional treatment options and medications.
When Dr. Tschickardt isn’t serving Coastal Bend area residents dealing with chronic pain, he enjoys spending time with his wife Sherrie, and their three children Jonathan, Joshua, and Haley. He is a huge Tampa Bay Buccaneer fan and also enjoys fishing, boating, and skiing.
Ricardo Taboada, M.D.
Dr. Ricardo Taboada is a proud University of Texas at Austin graduate who completed medical school at Universidad Central Del Caribe in Puerto Rico. He continued his training with an Anesthesiology residency and Pain Medicine fellowship at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences and Baystate Medical Center and is board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
With over a decade of experience at the Hartford Hospital Pain Treatment Center, Dr. Taboada brings expertise in interventional pain management with a strong foundation in patient-doctor relationships. Dr. Taboada is fluent in Spanish and is excited to return to his hometown of Corpus Christi.
Madeline Benavidez, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Hailing from San Luis Obispo, California, Maddie Benavidez, FNP-C moved to Corpus Christi in 2014. She attended University of Detroit Mercy for her BSN and worked as a RN for 3 years before deciding to pursue her Family Nurse Practitioner, MSN degree at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Maddie has been a part of our Coastal Bend Family for 4 years and is excited to keep providing excellent patient care to our Coastal Bend residents.
When Maddie is not helping our patients improve their quality of life, she enjoys spending time traveling and soaking up the sun with her husband, Albert, daughter, Olivia and son, Ben.
KeiKei Robinson, APRN, FNP-BC
In the vast realm of healthcare, where compassion meets expertise, I proudly stand as a seasoned Registered Nurse turned Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. With 21 years of invaluable experience under my belt, I have witnessed the ebb and flow of countless medical miracles and heartwarming moments.
Hailing from the heartland of the Midwest, I bring a touch of warmth and sincerity to every patient encounter. Just like my favorite color, pink, I strive to infuse a vibrant spirit into the lives I touch. Beyond healthcare, I am the proud wife to a Navy Senior Chief. Together, we have been blessed with a lively brood of six children, including a set of twins.
